An Aristocrat mare, Bonita is one of the leading daughters of the leading overall stallion Afire Bey V and the mare Bacharah, sired by Barbary and out of an Eter daughter. She is a 7/8 sibling to Foxy Afire, the difference being that her maternal great granddam is Bufa, and Foxy’s is Miss Floco.

Bonita is the dam of 10 excellent foals, including 4x National Champion Inception, National Top Ten & Champion AEPA Yearling Noble Bacharah, National Top Ten Noble Ballet, Champion AEPA Yearling Futurity Noble Bacarrat, and National/ Reserve National Champion Noble Blessing.

She had Embryo Transfer foals in 2021 and 2022, sired by KW Micah. She was then retired from breeding at the age of 19.

Bonita was acquired by LEQ in the mid-spring of 2024, and we were able to extract 2 embryos from her which thankfully took. One is sired by National Champion and National Champion sire, as well as #4 leading sire Black Daniels, a son of IXL Noble Express, who was the only stud she was ever bred to besides Micah up to now. She was also bred to Rhythmic AHSA, the 4the stallion she was ever bred to besides Micah (2x) , Noble Express (8x) and Black Daniels (1x).
