Layla RTA is sired by 4x Unanimous U.S. National Champion, Afires Heir, and out of 3x Youth + U.S. National Champion park horse mare and producer, Lah Lah by AA Apollo Bey.
Afire's Heir is currently ranked as the #1 Saddleseat Sire in the arabian breed, a sire to 700+ foals. He is the sire of many Youth + U.S. National Champions, some of the most noteworthy being VJ Royal Heir, Heirs Noble Love, Saxton DGL, OH Dancing on Heir, KT Mahalo, Majestic Heir, Movin on Heir WA, Royal Moves, Moonlight Heir VA, Frisco DGL, KT Heir Lord, SD The Dark Horse, KT Besteelemyheart, and several more. Lah Lah only had 4 foals in her lifetime, all fillies, Layla and Lah Ti Da being her only two foals to hit the show ring. Both have garnered numerous Youth + U.S. National Top Tens.
Layla has one foal, (created by accident: bred to wrong stallion) a chestnut soon-to-be-gelding by Royal Nobility, who is showing great potential as a show horse. She has 2 foals coming next year by Black Daniels and Rhythmic AHSA.
As far as confirmation, Layla has an extremely upright neck that lacks length, but will potentially be lengthened through her future foals. Her head lacks type, but she has very large eyes. Rhythmic and Black Daniels will potentially give more type to her face through her foals. She has an excellent angle of shoulder and humerus bone and hocks, which allows for extravagant, exotic motion both front and back. She has great feet and legs, and Rhythmic will only add to that. Black Daniels also sires foals with great feet and legs. She has optimal length of back, a good croup and a straight tail. She is a very small mare, but again, Rhythmic will help with that and Black Daniels is known for throwing large foals.
She is available for embryos in the Summer of 2024. Contact Brooke Landon for more information. (818)-269-5453, brooke@landoneq.com.
