Almira is sired by Om El Al Azeem, a son of the great Al Lahab and Om El Beneera, a daughter of Sharem El Sheikh and the aristocrat mare Estopa.

Almira is out of the half Polish mare Alamina, imported by Om El Arab. Alamina is a daughter of Om El Belissimo and Alamdea, a mare bred by the historical Janow Podlaski stud.

Almira was started after her purchase date in January of 2021. She remained lightly undersaddle for a few months, and then she was let back out to pasture with the hopes of being bred, but never got pregnant.

She remained open for the rest of the 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons,with now progeny born or coming before recently being confirmed in foal in 2024 to Rhythmic AHSA. We are excited to see this foal, who comes from a Crabbet, Polish, Egyptian and German genetic makeup.
